In New York, actors can greatly increase their chances of work if they have a good demo reel. It allows agents and casting directors to see how you look on film and shows them your range and marketability. Not only will I assemble and edit your footage, but I can add sound design and tighten/re-edit the footage to make your reel more dynamic and memorable.
Dramatic Reel
This is an example of a dramatic acting reel with one single scene, followed by a short non-speaking montage, highlighting a variety of acting styles and characters.
This is also an example of additional editing being implemented to enhance the reel. I added sound effects and music to the opening scene, and cut it down from two minutes to one-and-a-half minutes to make it tighter and more cinematic.
Dramatic Reel - Quick Version
Another example of a dramatic acting reel with one single scene followed by a short non-speaking montage. This is a 60-second version, which is perfect for casting websites like Actors Access.
Acting Montage - Quick Version
Here's an example of a quick montage of different acting styles and rhythms, using a mix of dialogue and music.
Comedic Reel
Here is an example of comedic acting reel, using one complete scene, followed by a quick non-speaking montage.
Traditional Commercial/Acting Reel
Here is an example of a traditional demo reel, using blackouts to separate the individual clips.
Also included in this reel are two originally-produced scenes. The actor didn't have much footage outside of his commercial work, so we shot the scene in the street and the scene in the bar to help flesh out his reel.
